These days Google cares more about content than backlinks.

And generally when you’re posting your own backlink like with web 2.0 user-driven sites, the backlinks have little to even no value. You may even be penalised for spamming.

If you want to use web 2.0 sites for SEO purposes, you’ll find it to be a colossal waste of time and effort.
