YouTube is the second largest search engine in the world, and is a widely platform perfect to gain a following and promote yourself.
It’s a goldmine.
The problem is however, it’s also very competitive.
And people make it a lot of stupid mistakes trying to beat the algorithm and give themselves a boost, like buying views.
The problem is however YouTube’s bot detection is getting better, the algorithms care more about about user behaviour than view counts anyway, and taking shortcuts will get you penalized.

1. Encourage your viewers to share your content
2. Ask your viewers to like and subscribe
3. Collaborate with guest appearances from other content creators
