    Be unapologetically yourself.

Don’t read what other people are writing and try to emulate them. You won’t be able to connect with your audience, and connection is everything. Let the words flow from your heart, not carefully crafted over the course of hours to fit a framework. You’ll have spent hours crafting one unsuccessful post in the time you could have wrote several authentic ones.

Also find the medium you’re most comfortable with. I spent years grinding on every platform… Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, even YouTube, but in all that time only my Twitter was growing. And un-coincidentally, it was the platform I enjoyed working on, it felt natural. I drastically reduced my time spent on other platforms and focused almost exclusively on Twitter, and my business has thrived from it.

This is true for me to. I used to sit at the desk for hours trying to come up with the perfect post, but it wasn’t until I stopped thinking and just typed that I was able to get my blog off the ground. It also helped me learn to enjoy what I do.

I think it’s because instead of writing about what I think other people want to read, I write about the things I want to. My ideal audience is simply the audience that likes reading what I have to say.

The internet is flooded with too much content. Not only is it hard to stand out, as a reader it’s hard to find what’s most relevant to you. Being authentic and not being broad also help’s a reader see if you’re the perfect fit for them or not.

Exactly. Instead of trying to be a perfect fit for many people, be yourself and let people decide if you’re the fit for them <3
